ABOUT US

Insight Care Group is a newly founded, independent organisation focused on providing residential care for young people.

The mission of Insight Care Group is “To provide welcoming homes for children along with the individualised therapeutic support and loving relationships that each child needs to work through any challenges they face to achieve the best possible education, outcomes and achievements.”

To succeed in our mission, we know it is critical that all at Insight Care share the same vision and principles in the way the children are supported.  With this in mind we have built our approach around three key areas:

Relate, Educate and Elevate

We believe that all young people deserve the chance to grow and develop in a way that wil provide them with strong foundations for a bright future.

ORCHID HOUSE

Orchid house is a four bedroom semi-detached home in Handsworth, Birmingham. At Orchid House, we support young people between ages seven – eighteen with learning difficulties including autism. Orchid House will be the home of up to four young people who will all have spacious double bedrooms. They will benefit from a large home that has been designed with consideration of providing a warm homely environment that enables both positive communal living but equally has plenty of options for space and downtime.

Young people with learning difficulties will each have specific individual support needs potentially including Autism, ADHD, communication or sensory processing difficulties among others. The support each individual child receives will be tailored to their personal needs along with their views and wishes, this will be complimented by a consistent therapeutic approach built around trauma informed care and building positive relational health.  The team within the home will be highly trained and this will include any individualised training required that is identified through the assessment process.
